Netscape Navigator 4.x users: Go to Edit, then Preferences.  Under Apperance in the left pane, click on Color. Then, in the right pane, make sure "Always Use My Colors, Overriding Document" is unchecked.

Netscape Navigator 3.0x users: Go to Options, then General Preferences. On the Color tab, make sure "Always Use My Colors, Overriding Document" is unchecked.

MSIE users: Go to Tools->Internet Options.  On the General Tab, select Colors at the Bottom.  Make sure that the "Use Windows Colors" button is unchecked, and make sure that the colors in the box aren't something wild and crazy (like anything other than black and white).

Netscape Navigator 6.x users:  Your browser is crap.  Use something else.
