Here are some pics that I have taken of the greatest university in the world.

First, an aerial shot of the main part of the MSU campus.

Another aerial shot of the campus.  This one highlights the football stadium, Scott Field.

Here we have the Humphrey Coliseum and Polk-Dement Stadium/Dudy Noble Field.
Dudy Noble is consistently rated as the best place in the country to watch college baseball.

MSU5.jpg (28119 bytes)

In our last aerial shot, we have the two Honors dorms, Hightower (Freshman, top) and
Duggar (upper class, bottom).

MSU4.jpg (24550 bytes)

Back on the groud we have a shot of the always crowded Hightower parking lot.
MSU1.jpg (19002 bytes)

And now, proof that it does snow in Mississippi.
MSUsnow.jpg (22338 bytes)
This shot was taken at 10:00 AM after a fair amount of snow fell between
1:30 - 2:30 AM.  Almost all of the snow melted by sunset.

Our next pic is a shot of the Eternal Flame in from of Allen Hall.
MSU6b.jpg (16925 bytes)

Here we see Lee Hall from across the Drill Field.
MSU7b.jpg (9315 bytes)

The US and MS flags fly on the flagpole in the center of the Drill Field.

Finally, a couple of shots from the Mississippi Blizzard of 2000.

Blizzard is a relative term in this case.

Special thanks to Jonathan Scott for taking me up in his plane to get the aerial pics.
